The City of Delaware is participating in Ohio State University’s Project DREAMS program on Feb. 21 when it hosts the welcoming event for Equity Day. The goal of Equity Day is to create equitable schools through positive youth and community development. Along with Ohio State University, other community partners are Delaware City Schools, the Delaware African American Heritage Council, the Delaware Public Health District and others.

Equity Day is sponsored by Well Connected Communities, a national health and well-being initiative of the Cooperative Extension System — in partnership with the National 4-H Council and support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The welcoming event is 8:30-9:30 am in City Hall Council Chambers, 18 E. William Street. Visit go.osu.edu/projectdreams for more information and event descriptions.
