The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced upcoming work on the East Camden Bypass, set to commence on June 23 and conclude by July 7. The construction will take place at the intersection of Rising Sun Road and S. Old Mill Road, necessitating lane closures.

As part of this project, the southbound section of Rising Sun Road will be expanded to include a left turn lane onto S. Old Mill Road and a through lane. Additionally, a new four-way stop sign will be installed at this intersection. This stop sign is intended to remain in place after the project’s completion.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and reduce speed when navigating through work zones. For further details, individuals can visit DelDOT’s website or listen to WTMC-AM 1380.
