DIAA announces boys volleyball quarterfinal and track championship results for May 15

The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association announced on May 15 the results of the Boys Volleyball Quarterfinals and the first day of the Track & Field State Championships.

The update matters to students, families, and school communities following state tournament play in Delaware high school athletics.

Salesianum School and Odyssey Charter School advanced to the DIAA Boys Volleyball Semifinals after winning their quarterfinal matches. Salesianum defeated Caesar Rodney with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-20. Odyssey Charter won against Brandywine with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-23. Two additional quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Saturday: Charter will face Newark Charter at Charter at 6 p.m., while Cape Henlopen will play Appoquinimink at Cape Henlopen at 3 p.m. The match between Cape Henlopen and Appoquinimink will be live streamed on the NFHS Network.

Day one of the DIAA Outdoor Track & Field State Championships took place at Dover High School. Championship events continue Saturday starting at 9 a.m., with schedules available on the DIAA Outdoor Track & Field webpage. Competition also continues in Girls & Boys Tennis with rounds one and two taking place Saturday; details are available on the Tennis Webpage.

Tickets for all state tournament events can be purchased online through GoFan, which is listed as DIAA’s official ticket platform. All semifinal and championship games will be streamed live via the NFHS Network to allow fans remote access to event coverage.
