The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) has announced a second adjustment to the schedules for the 2026 Unified, Girls, and Boys Basketball State Tournaments. The changes come as a result of school closures and ongoing concerns about weather conditions.

The DIAA stated that these updates were necessary to ensure fairness for schools statewide and to accommodate facility availability at the University of Delaware. “These changes are intended to provide equitable opportunities for all participating teams while continuing to prioritize the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure a safe, fair, and successful championship experience for all,” according to the association.

Under the revised schedule:
– Unified Basketball will begin with Round 1 on Monday, March 2, followed by quarterfinals on Friday, March 6, semifinals on Monday, March 9, and finals on Saturday, March 14.
– Boys Basketball starts with Round 1 on Tuesday, March 3; Round 2 is Thursday, March 5; quarterfinals are Saturday, March 7 (hosted by higher-seeded teams); semifinals take place Wednesday, March 11; finals are set for Saturday, March 14.
– Girls Basketball opens with Round 1 on Monday, March 2; Round 2 is Wednesday, March 4; quarterfinals are Friday, March 6 (hosted by higher-seeded teams); semifinals happen Tuesday, March 10; finals are scheduled for Saturday, March 14.

All quarterfinal games will now be hosted by the higher-seeded team. Ticket dates and times will be updated later in the evening via GoFan. Tickets already purchased remain valid for new dates. The semifinals and finals will continue at the University of Delaware’s Bob Carpenter Center.

Tickets through the quarterfinal rounds can be purchased online via GoFan at https://gofan.co/app/school/DIAA. For Unified games at earlier rounds only tickets for the finals at University of Delaware are required.

Tickets for semifinal and final rounds held at Bob Carpenter Center will be available through University of Delaware’s ticketing site: bluehens.evenue.net/events/DIAA.

Fans unable to attend in person can watch live streams of semifinal and championship games through The NFHS Network. More details about streaming options can be found on DIAA’s website.
