Four Delaware State players receive All-Conference softball honors from MEAC

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced on May 5 the recipients of its 2026 regular season softball awards, recognizing four players from Delaware State University. Kristin White and Mianna Lopez Del Haro were named to the Second Team, while Kaylanie Rodriguez and Nevaeh Terrell earned spots on the Third Team.

These recognitions come as teams prepare for the upcoming MEAC Softball Tournament, which begins Wednesday, May 6 at Townebank Softball Field at Norfolk State University. The tournament will open with No. 4 Norfolk State facing No. 5 Morgan State at 11 a.m., followed by No. 3 South Carolina State playing No. 6 Coppin State at 2 p.m.

Delaware State enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed and will play one of the winners from the earlier games during evening matchups scheduled for later in the day.

The announcement highlights individual performances throughout the regular season that contributed to their teams’ success and positions Delaware State among this year’s top contenders in conference play.
