The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association announced on March 11 that Howard High School of Technology and St. Georges Technical High School will face off in the 2026 Boys Basketball Championship game.
The matchup follows two closely contested semifinal games, with both teams earning their place in the final through strong performances. The championship is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 7:00 PM at the University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center.
St. Georges, seeded fourth, secured a spot in the title game by defeating top-seeded Dover with a score of 63-57. Howard, holding the second seed, overcame third-seeded William Penn in a tight contest that ended 52-45.
Tickets for the championship game will be available to the public starting Friday, March 13 at noon through University of Delaware Ticketing.
