The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced on May 5 that 83 student-athletes from eight institutions were named to the 2026 Softball All-Academic Team for their academic achievements during the 2025-26 academic year.

The recognition highlights student-athletes who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Eligible honorees include sophomores, juniors, seniors, and transfer students who have been in residence at their institution for at least one year.

Delaware State had eleven players selected for this honor: Kristin White, Bria Sewell, Nevaeh Terrell, Mianna Lopez Del Haro, Karly Cain, Mi’Shon King, Jaylyn Slater, Rhyannon Stanley, Zaelyn Harding, Chandler Martin and Kaylanie Rodriguez.

The MEAC said these selections reflect both athletic and academic commitment among its member schools’ athletes. The annual announcement is intended to encourage continued excellence in the classroom as well as on the field.

As student-athletes balance rigorous schedules between academics and athletics each year, the conference continues to recognize those who excel in both areas.
