Town of Felton issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
There are three (3) Council Positions Available each having a three (3) year term. To be qualified to run for Felton Town Council you must:
be 21 years of age, be a citizen of the United States, have been a bona fide resident of the Town of Felton for one year prior to election day and have never been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.
To declare candidacy submit a signed and dated letter requesting that your name be added to the 2020 Council Election ballot with a Town of Felton Affidavit of Qualification Candidate Filing Form (available at Town Hall, by mail, fax or email) and State Campaign Finance Certification of Intention Form Campaign Finance Form(also available at Town Hall or online at www.elections.delaware.gov).
Filing Deadline is January 17, 2020
All letters of candidacy must be received at Felton Town Hall by 5pm.
(Postmarks are NOT accepted.)
Felton Town Hall is Open Monday thru Friday 9am-5pm.
