Houston home prices rise in August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Houston rose by $33,625 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 28.9% increase over the $116,375 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Houston in August 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Houston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $453, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
