Town of Clayton issued the following announcement on Nov. 17.
Smyrna Clayton July 4th Foundation will be hosting the Annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 6, 2020. The parade starts at 5:00 p.m. Line up starts at 4:00 p.m. The parade will start at Clayton Elementary School and end at Eagle Group. If you would like more information, please contact Stacey Hutson at 302-670-0064 or hutsonstacey0@gmail.com. We are asking that you wear a mast and that you social distance. We are asking that participants not dress up as Santa so we do not confuse the young children. Donations will be accepted for Toys for Tots for the Clayton Fire Company. A box will be available at the Christmas Tree Lot for your donations or you can hand it to the person at line up. Donations will also be accepted at the Clayton Police Department. Deadline is December 2, 2020. No rain date.
