Town of Camden issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Municipal Election To Be Held Saturday, February 27, 2021 From 12 Noon Until 8:00 P.M.

Positions Open: 

One (1) council seat with a term of three (3) years.

 Eligibility Requirements: 

1. 21 years of age or older by the date of the election and not convicted of a felony 

2. Citizen of the State of Delaware 

3. Resident of Town of Camden for at least 1 year prior to the election

 Procedure for filing: 

Submit a letter of interest and the following form: 

(Available at Town of Camden) 

1. Certificate of Intention for an office paying less than $1,000 per year or if you intend to receive and spend less than $2,000 in your campaign.

                                       Camden, DE 19934 

Town Hall will be open until 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 for the purpose of registering candidates interested in running for election.  

FILING DEADLINE: 4:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2021 

Absentee ballots will be available, if eligible. 

 A registered voter that is unable to come to the election polls on the day of the election must complete an affidavit prior to receiving an absentee ballot. The completed affidavit    must be received in Town Hall by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021.
