Town of Farmington issued the following announcement on Jan. 1.
It's with deepest regrets we announce the passing of our brother Mark Langford. Mark dedicated his life to serving the Delaware fire service and has impacted many communities. Mark served as past Chief, past president, and lifetime member to the Farmington Fire Company. Mark was currently serving in the position of Kent County Firefighters Association President and was past President Kent County Fire Chiefs Association. Mark will forever be missed and have a place in our hearts. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
