Census Bureau: More men than women in Smyrna in 2019

Of the 11,484 people living in Smyrna in 2019, 49.1 percent (5,639) were women and 50.9 percent (5,845) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kent County Today.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,609-to-3,508. In the 65 and over age range, there were 866 females and 576 males.
