Census Bureau: More women than men in Delaware in 2019

Of the 1,771 people living in Delaware in 2019, 50.1 percent (888) were women and 49.9 percent (883) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kent County Today.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 496-to-465. In the 65 and over age range, there were 178 females and 143 males.
