The Town of Smyrna announced on Apr. 3 that its Annual Spring Clean Up will take place from Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 24, 2026.

The program is intended to give residents a chance to dispose of items not usually accepted during regular trash collection. This effort aims to help keep the community clean and provide an organized way for residents to remove larger or unusual waste.

According to the announcement, demolition debris, tires, paint, and hazardous materials will not be collected as part of this program. Additionally, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners containing Freon are excluded from pickup. All items intended for collection must be placed at the curb.

The Town said that due to the high volume expected during this period, special pickup requests cannot be accommodated. Crews will work through each area over the two-week period. Residents are asked for their patience while crews make their rounds.

Any items placed out after the official collection period ends on April 24 will not be picked up and must comply with Town code.
