The Delaware State Hornets defeated Coppin State Eagles 3-2 after nine innings on May 9. Chandler Martin led offensively while Rhyannon Stanley picked up the win from relief pitching. The team advances to face South Carolina State University next.

Angie Ordonez drove in four runs as Delaware State rallied from behind to defeat Norfolk State Spartans 9-8. Kristin White secured the win from the bullpen while Karly Cain contributed three hits for the Hornets.
