The pandemic threat of COVID-19 has taken more than half the world by a storm as many big events are being cancelled on account of recommended social isolation to combat the threat.
Despite the pandemonium being created by the virus, Kent County and its events continue on. The Saint Patrick's Day parade on March 21, is still being held and when asked about the pandemic threat Organizer Brynn Voshell said, “If you're not feeling great, don't come out. But we hope everyone is feeling great and comes out.”
To support their claims of not shutting down the events for public safety and not adhering to health protocols, Kent County officials discussed public intelligence.
According to WBOC News, the spokesperson Gary Camp of another event will host a big crowd and will be located at the Dover International Speedway. Regarding the continuance of events, he kept his response brief.
“We don't have a lot more share beyond that at the moment but will keep you posted if we hear of any changes," he said.
