Town of Frederica issued the following announcement on April 16.
We have received some reports that residents have gotten phone calls from someone claiming to be from the Town of Frederica, and that payment is needed immediately to avoid disconnecting their utilities.
Please Be Aware. This is a scam. The Frederica Town Hall DOES NOT make phone calls to ask for payments.
